AFRICAN CYCLE

The Atelier de Paris-Carolyn Carlson dedicates for the first time an intense training session to the African choreographic creation. This cycle brings together four choreographers who defend and claim a strong and original creativity on the international scene, and interrogate the links between contemporaneity and tradition.
Beyond the training in the studio, conferences are to be proposed to the participants as well as an evening dedicated to Africa in Cinémathèque de la Danse.
This African cycle also starts a partnership with the Centre de Développement Chorégraphique – La Termitière in Ougadougou where Carolyn Carlson will teach next December 2007.
